Trekking in Chile offers a range of treks in the whole range from north to south. Starting in the north with the desert and Altiplano where you will see wildlife such as guanaco and flamingo; you can also hike through central Andes and lake district with volcanoes and primeval forests of araucaria, alerce and other trees. In the south hiking takes you to such wonders as the glacier valleys and mountains of the Torres del Paine and the National parks. This is our classic trip in Torres del Paine. The 7 day itinerary, also known as the "W", includes highlights as the Grey Glacier and lake navigation, the French Valley, Paso de los Cuernos, the Torre del Paine and several spots for wildlife watching. In this trip we use our own private Ecocamp as a base camp in the park.. |
